Feeling down
When I am feeling down, it can be from three possible sources. It is possible that certain chemicals in my body are in disarray.
A physician for my body can help me.
Or it could be that I am down because the feelings of my heart are sore and confused by the experiences of my life.
A psychologist can help me understand and accept my feelings.
Or it could be that I feel sadness in my soul because I have not chosen well or lived well.
God, the physician of my soul, can help me with forgiveness, peace, and love, and a chance to start over anew.
Help me, my God, to find the way to life again.
Christmas is coming!

Hi,
I found your blog, after reading excerpts from Tortured For Christ.
I am a Christian and live in the US. I found myself crying over so many things Pastor Wurmbrand said that show how amazing our God's love for all of us is.
I am sorry you are feeling down. I have never been involved in missionary work, but I felt God wanted me to pray over the Lebanon war and the bombing of civilians back in the summer of 2006 and since then my life has never been the same. Not a day goes by that I do not think of the suffering of those oppressed and under occupation in Gaza and the West Bank and cry and pray over it. And think about how few Christians live today in the place Christ was born and lived and pray for them and the millions of people there who are lost.
And my prayers become songs. Here is verse one of the present song I am working on.
In the Palm Of God's Hands
It's all about you, God
You gave me life, you created me in your own image
You molded me into your special and unique creation
Thank you for the wonders of your love God
You sent your son into this world
To sacrifice his life to save me from my sins
So that I can choose to accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour
And accept your gift of eternal life
Thank you for your amazing grace, God
Every day of my life, I give you my heart
I give you my soul
I give you mind
Take me, do with me what you will
It's all about you, God
It's all about you
Chorus
In the palm of God's hands, that's where I want to be
Following wherever Christ leads me
There will be sunshine, there will be rain
Wherever I am in my life, I turn to Christ
He's always there, beside me and inside my heart
His presence fills me with joy and love and faith and hope
He is the light of my life
What makes life worth living
And I know he will see me through any journey he leads me on
Until one day, he delivers me into his arms
Where I will, for eternity, rest in the palm of God's hands
It's all about you, God
It's all about you
I hope you feel better and I have not bored you with my song. God bless you, Sherri
